Three-Phase AC/DC PV Protection Box

HONI Three-Phase AC/DC PV Protection Box integrates the AC protection section and DC string protection section into one wall-mounted enclosure. It can be configured with three-phase AC MCB, AC/DC surge protection devices, DC fuses and dual lockable DC isolators, helping reduce on-site wiring complexity, installation time and component sourcing. OEM and ODM configurations are available according to project requirements.

Product Overview

The product combines the three-phase AC protection section and DC protection section in one organized enclosure. It provides a practical solution for protecting the AC output side and DC string side of a photovoltaic installation.

The internal configuration can include:

The enclosure is suitable for wall-mounted installation and is equipped with smoked transparent doors for convenient inspection and operation.

1. Integrated AC + DC Protection

The AC protection section and DC protection section are integrated into one enclosure, reducing installation space, external wiring and component sourcing.

2. Dedicated Three-Phase AC Section

The upper section can be configured with a three-phase AC MCB and surge protection devices to provide organized AC circuit protection for photovoltaic inverter systems.

3. Complete DC String Protection

The DC section can integrate fuse protection and surge protection devices to help protect photovoltaic string circuits against overcurrent and transient overvoltage.

4. Dual Lockable DC Isolators

Two rotary DC isolators provide independent and visible isolation control. The lockable design helps improve maintenance safety and prevent unauthorized operation.

5. Project-Oriented Customization

The internal device configuration, current rating, voltage rating, labels, wiring layout and enclosure arrangement can be customized according to different photovoltaic projects.

PV Array → PV Inverter → AC/DC PV Protection Box → AC Distribution Panel → Electrical Loads

Application explanation

The PV array generates DC power and supplies it to the inverter. The protection box provides DC-side protection and isolation, as well as AC-side protection between the inverter and the main distribution panel.
